Webmaker IRC India

Hello all,

Here I am back with a recent Mozilla event Webmaker IRC India.  The main aim of Webmaker Project is helping people to create something amazing on web. This event is conducted to encourage people around the India to move beyond using the web to make it and clarify the doubts regarding Webmaker Project and to give a clear idea how to organize Webmaker Party in nearby Educational Institutions. Maker Party is Mozilla’s global campaign to teach the web. Through thousands of community-run events around the world, Maker Party unites educators, organizations and enthusiastic web users with hands-on learning and making. Since Mozilla thrown an Annual Maker Party this year it was really necessary to host this event to clarify doubts of Mozillians around India and boost up the mission. This responsibility was taken by Dyvik Chenna. He planned to organize the event for the 6 days(4-July-2014 to 9th-July-2014). I am happy to say that  till now 2 successful days are completed. The event went on like this…….

The first day of Webmaker IRC meet went well with 25+ participation’s including Reps,Fsa’s and also many Webmaker enthusiasts. They introduced Webmaker to newbies and also discussed few problems that Mozillians are facing when they host Webmaker events in their region. The main aim behind this meet is to conduct more than 600 Webmaker events in other 2 Months at 600 Districts and 29 states in India. These are the few images of 1st the event…..
